Farm equipment destroyed in barn fire Alpine Township, Mich. (WZZM) - The barn of a West Michigan farm and all of the equipment inside was destroyed by a fire Friday. The equipment barn on Baumhoff was owned by Schweitzer Farms. Five tractors, spraying and other apple farming equipment were inside the barn when the fire started. Crews say the building is a total loss. No word yet on what caused the fire.
