SPARTA, Mich. (WZZM) - The first shovels of dirt have been moved for Spectrum Health's new Sparta facility.

The groundbreaking for the 13,000 square foot building took place today.

The new facility will merge two, current Spectrum Health primary care offices into one place in the 2000 block of 12 Mile Road. It will include six doctor's offices, 20 exam rooms, rehabilitation, X-ray imaging and a blood laboratory.
